Constitution.

Congress should not rush their SCOTUS discussions!!

With everything going on now that Bush cannot handle, why not put this aside for a little while and get other things going properly.

7. It's the shiny object effect
He wants all the "news" people to stop talking about Scooter and all his failures so they have to give them someone. I wonder how he found this dude so fast. Unless they planned this all along (I'm thinking they probably did) and already had him lined up to swift through.
