14. Al Haig may be a republican,
but every time I see his name, I recall his presidential bid in 1988 against G.W.H.Bush. During an interview with 'Newsweek', the reporter asked him why he was running against the VP. His response was "Because he's incompetent." I read it in a 'Newsweek' article and I have no link. I remember reading this - I also recall, in the same article, where the reporter was covering a meet and greet outside a factory as hourly personnel were going into work. Someone refused to shake his hand and the reporter asked him how responses like that affected him. His response was a shrug and "It doesn't. Every now and then you meet an asshole."

The only presidential candidate I have seen since that time who has been that honest and open was Al Sharpton.

Every time I see Haig's name, I think of that comment and wonder what he honestly thinks of Bush redux. Because, compared to this 'moran', Bush I was a friggin' genius.

9. I hope Russert feels like shit on a stick
He helped promote the war for this administration as much as Fox. Talking up WMDs in the same breath as Iraq over and over. Never challenging. What a good lap dog he was every week. And then Scooter tried to throw Timmy under the bus as if they figured he'd go along.

Yep. Shit sitting on top of the stick.

11. He's packed his show with two Dems
I don't know where Beschloss stands but he isn't too controversial. So, only one real out and out Repuke. Looks like he's packing the house with sympathetic guests.

Thank goodness we turn back the clocks tonight. I know I'll be able to get up early to watch the first airing.
