4. How can you avoid being charged with perjury, when the bargaining
chip was obstruction of justice?

5. So who is Rove going to throw under the bus to save his sorry a**?
I always knew he was a whiney-ass punk when it came right down to the nitty-gritty. As other DU'ers have said, I hope he's indicted like he's never been indicted before.

Traitor. Snitch. Coward.

7. So, what does Turd Blossom have on Dubya that's all that valuable?
Flipping his boss would be Karl's only bargaining chip. Betya Shrub will come to regret the "turd blossom" comment.

12. I would love to be there when
they fill out his AKA's for his rap sheet--Turdblossom.

I'd also covet a seat in court so I could hear the prosecutor cross-examine him--Isn't it true, Mr. R*ve, that you are known in some circles as Turdblossom.

before sitting. :yoiks:

18. I hope this is where the 2% approval rating kicks in
Bush, in terms of African Americans.

Thanks for the link. I loved the paragraghs near the end, describing the grand jury as majority African American women, including the foreperson, plus several African American men. I should have realized that given the demographics of the District, but seeing it verified in print gave me a warm feeling, regarding the group who are deciding Karl Rove's fate.

19. It is delicious, isn't it? What a fitting way for this administration to
go down.

And how nice that African Americans get the honor of participating.

14. Perjury?
That's all Rove might be charged with? Effing perjury?

Even so, it scares me thinking that because his lawyer is friends with Fitz, he might get away with it. Unless Fitz is as hardnosed as he's reputed to be.

15. I think Fitz is as hardnosed as they say he is
What's Rover got that Fitz would want?

Only the monkey ... and Rove will never give that up.

17. Maybe he's doing some sort of plea for Chimpy...
Maybe he thinks there's enough potential damage to the monkey that he's trying to minimize it, even falling on his sword -- who knows? The top priority, I think, is to keep Chimp shielded. ("He didn't know! He didn't know!" That's been their excuse for him from the start.)

13. Aha! A Friday! Just like in Watergate.
And if it is like Watergate, they'll do it late in the business day. Puts it into the weekend news dump which is what you want to do when you have very important, earth-shaking news.

This almost had to be decided today. Something came together today.

16. Intense negotiations, huh? What bargaining chips
has Rove got?

Let's see....he can plead guilty to a lesser offense and save the country the cost of his trial.

Or he can give up W.

Assuming of course that Fitzgerald's got the goods.

Poor KKKarl.

Either way, Rove is gone, as is the evil one.

22. Well I wonder if the Turdblossom is willing to give up bigger fish
for this? Can you imagine how long Rovie would last in general population? Fitz has them by the short hairs and would not let the 'Blossom out unless he had something worth Fitz' time...:nopity:
