I know DU doesn't like these sources but can we prove these reports are true or false? Are appellate court actions matters of public record? I have contacted on attorney friend to find out if he can contact this DC appellate court to confirm or disprove the stop story ....thanks,
Mods, I would like a chance to prove this wrong or right before you lock this. Thanks, NVMOJO

NEW: D.C. Appellate Court throws out Bush suit against DOJ to block Fitzgerald indictments

Earlier today the District of Columbia Appellate Court threw out a Bush administration suit against its own Justice Department, attempting to block the issuance of Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald’s indictments against White House officials.

EXCLUSIVE: Bush—Cheney CIA/Plame case indictments released this morning

Bush orders Fitzgerald fired and espionage indictments quashed

Today Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald handed over 22 indictments to Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez, accusing President George W. Bush, Vice President Richard Cheney and others of espionage, obstruction of justice, perjury and a variety of other charges in the matter of the CIA/Valerie Plame leak-gate case.

According to intelligence sources who spoke with federal whistleblowers Thomas Heneghan and Stewart Webb, Bush then ordered Gonzalez to fire Fitzgerald and have the indictments quashed and sealed. READ MORE http://www.tomflocco.com/fs/CiaPlameCaseIndictments.htm

1. Logic and facts must prevail...
... if Bush fired Fitzgerald, there would have to be an order to do so from the Attorney General. There is none that Flocco can produce.

Second, Fitzgerald would not have handed over indictments to Gonzales (when will people spell his name correctly?). They are delivered to a district court judge in the district in which Fitzgerald has authority to operate.

Third, any such suit to block indictments would not go directly to an appellate court--they would first have to be acknowledged by the district court which had jurisdiction and the government's motion denied--something which has not yet happened.

Last, Thomas Heneghan and Stewart Webb are conspiracists who claim that the Bushes, Bill and Hillary Clinton and Leonard Millman (Webb's former father-in-law) are all part of the same organized crime family.

Judge for yourself, but, please, Flocco isn't worth wasting time on.

2. Just the product of a creative mind.
Flocco's stuff are works of fiction.

5. Just looking at your clips.
Just looking above, this article is fucked up.

If Fitz had handed down indictments the news would be all over it.

Fitzgerald cannot be fired by Gonzalez. Alberto has recused himself; he has no power to fire him. The GAO says that POTUS cannot fire him either.

If indictments have not been handed down by the grand jury, then the WH cannot file to have them quashed, can they.

I don't have to read the story to know it is bullshit. The fact that it's got Tom Flocco's name on it is sufficient.

4. And bad fiction, at that...
... see, particularly, his recent article about Barbara Olson being captured on the Polish-Austrian border. :)

6. Yes, the ghost of that mealy-mounthed Barbara Olson
It's scary that somebody could drink as much kool-aid as she apparently did. Just like her husband, fundy christian and big liar.
