I guess Kerry must be doing something right ...
His critics here can't decide if he's a) an insider/establishment Dem/DLC puppet or a b) an effete Northeastern liberal.
You guys need to get on the same page. :)

2. The antiKerry people are very disorganized.
They appear to be the same people who were bashing Clark a few weeks before the primaries.

7. I agree
I'm actually not anti-Kerry at all. I oppose his candidacy for the simple reason that I think he's not our strongest candidate against Bush. Its not just enough to admire the man personally, or to agree with him on the issues -- he has to be able to win in November. I think Kerry can do it - but he's going to have a hell of a hard time doing it. Beating Bush is really all that matters. And Clark can do it a lot easier with a lot less risk.

11. Maybe we need an anti-Kerry forum?
Get 'em all lined up neat and... :nuke:

Seriously, there are an awful lot of Kerry-bashing threads. More today than yesterday, it seems to me.

12. It appears to be the only thing Dean people are good at organizing
since getting votes out for their guy doesn't appear to be working so far..not even in his own back yard.

3. (b) is the GOP attack so it's the only one worth answering

If folks here think they can convince someone with the (a) attack, I think they are fooling themselves.

6. Either way, he's not easily electable.
John Kerry is a great guy, who I respect very much. I even applied for a job with him.

He still faces one fundamental problem: there is just no way he's going to carry Arkansas, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Missouri or Florida -- the states we need to win in order to send Bush packing.

There is only one liberal candidate out there who can not only do well but win white votes in the South. And it isn't Edwards, Lieberman, Dean or Kerry. Is Kerry necessarily DOA against Bush? No. But he's going to have a terribly difficult time. I've spent a lot of time recently talking to blue collar whites in South Carolina and they're tired of Bush. They want their jobs back, they want decent schools, and they want healthcare - in short they're looking for a Democrat. But there's no way they or their compatriots in any of the other Southern and Border states are going to vote for a patrician from Massachusetts.

9. I just started a thread asking the same question!
And I'm a Dean supporter.

It just smells like "anything to take down the front runner" to me.
