Tweety's Blog - It's all Cheney's Fault and Americans Pay Attention!
In the blog looks like Tweety is being an apologist for Bush being out of the loop again and it was Cheney and his office driving the runup to war and the false evidence.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9601200/#051019a

<snip>

That's the environment in which this whole thing may have been hatched. If there was law-breaking, it came out of the vice president and his people's determination to protect themselves against the charge that they led us into a corrupt war, a war based on false pretenses.

That's how hot this thing is.

If there are indictments, they're going to be probably in the vice president's office, they're probably going to come next week and they are going to blow this White House apart.

It's going to be unbelievable.

I think the people watching right now who are voters better start paying attention to this issue. It's not just about whether somebody's name was leaked, it's about whether we went to war under false pretenses or not, whether people knew about that or not, and what they did when they were charged against that kind of offense against the United States.

It's serious business.

1. and as usual bush isn't responsible for anything that the people
who report to him do?

why exactly does bush never know what's going on?

isn't incompetence reason enough for him to be impeached or otherwise removed from office?

9. He was going to be the first CEO President. The first with an MBA.
He was going to run this company like a business and make all of us rich.

Unfortunately, when they said this stuff America thought of Jack Welch - not Ken Lay.

It is completely un-fucking-believable that we have an idiot like bush in office. Even worse that we have such apologists taking care of him. Maybe if he didn't have people apologizing for him in the 60's and 70's we wouldn't be in this position today. He'd be a complete fuck-off like Neal or one of his daughters.

10. Jack Welch is a dick!
Having seen firsthand what he did to GE, I feel qualified to speak to this. He was known as "Neutron Jack", when he left a plant, only the buildings remained.

Welch was an evil ass who did nothing to the benefit of the average American.

2. Blaming Bush = blaming the SanDiego ckn when Padres lose
(courtesy of an SNL sketch)

Blaming Bush for anything that goes wrong is like blaming the San Diego Chicken when the Padres lose a ball game. He's got nothing to do with anything - he's just a big fuzzy mascot.

It's become a shorthand for us, whenever we hear anything negative blamed on Bush himself, my SO will just shake his head and say "big fuzzy mascot".

3. Cuz Tweety kept selling Bush as a "straightshooter" who would never lie to
the country, and did it for FIVE FUCKING YEARS.

Tweety knew for TWO YEARS that Rove outed Plame but chose to NOT TELL HIS AUDIENCES filled with voters., and instead, allowed Wilson to be labeled as a liar and a partisan campaign hack for Kerry by GOP lawmakers, campaign operatives and RW media pundits.

Tweety chose to NOT TELL HIS AUDIENCES the truth about the WH and the outing of an agent.

4. Just recently I heard Matthews extol how good and honorable Bush is
Last night on his show I incredibly heard David Gergen extol the virtues of Dick Cheney including his total honesty and how impossible it could be that Cheney had anything to do with the leak and in the last 2 weeks Matthews was extolling Bush's virtues as a "good honorable man". They must be living in a parallel universe.

7. Well, at least he sees that it's Traitor-gate and not Plame-gate! Although
Edited on Wed Oct-19-05 03:35 PM by Wordie
apparently he missed this mornings news stories saying that Bush knew all about it for the past 2 years.

Wonder what he'll say about that!

8. More Tweety bullshit
"All of the sudden, Joe Wilson comes up and starts leaking to the New York Times' Nick Kristoff, 'Wait a minute, they not only don't have any WMD to justify the war, they knew there wasn't going to be any WMD because they knew, based upon my trip over there, that there was no deal to buy uranium by Saddam Hussein in Africa.' That's the big picture here."

Joe Wilson didn't "leak" anything. He was under no compulsion to keep his findings in Niger secret. He was informing the American people, since the administration obviouslyt refused to do so.

11. Tweety and the rest of the elite media in America KNEW the war was a lie
Now that the lie is about to blow apart the White House, they tell us it is serious. Tweety deserves to be dragged from his cushioned anchor chair, have his head shaved and made to walk through DC with a sign around his neck reading "Traitor".

Starting to think that Tweety may be bipolar. Really.

13. The elected POTUS was not "in the loop" on the lead-up to the war?
That's pretty damning, in itself.
