Who believes in utter destruction of his political opponents with any means necessary. Character assassination is his specialty. He hides behinds the smears of others, even when he is responsible. George Bush hired him for that very reason. They think alike when it comes to destroying their political opponents. They both learned a lot from Little Lee Atwater. They are only getting a dose of their own medicine and deserve not one bit of sympathy.

This occurred to me months ago. There is absolutely no way that Karl Rove will allow himself to go down for anybody in this administration. It's just not his way. If he's going to be prosecuted and he realizes that he's about to take the fall for the Shrub or Cheney, I would be putting all my money on him squealing like a little pig about anything he knew to get them to go with him. He's just not the self-sacrificing kind.

And this, I would bet, is behind the nature of the rumors about "wars in the White House" and snitches and Cheney going down and that sort of thing. I bet Karl is trying to bring some others down with him (or maybe instead of him).

That was back in the 80's when atwater was head of the Republican National Committee, and was hailed as just so damned adorable because he was young-ish, cute-ish, and played electric guitar. He was Satan incarnate. And young george and karl were his two teacher's pets. The Hardy Boys from Hell (hey, I kinda like that one...)

Remember, too, rove's specialty has always been doing whatever dirty deed, and NEVER LEAVING ANY FINGERPRINTS. He got this far with that strategery. And it appears this will be his undoing.
