Please let us know about the good news too!
Edited on Sun Oct-16-05 06:53 PM by senseandsensibility
I am sure that I am not the only DUers who boycotts the corporate news media completely. For almost a year I have watched no CNN, FAUX, MSNBC, or network news. Because of this, I am in somewhat of a time warp. I remember the coverage as it was, shortly after the 2004 election.

My impression of the coverage and of the Dems appearances on the news shows is almost entirely negative. But if something positive does happen, if some Dem does stand up, please post about it.

Just recently, I read that Durbin kicked Mike Wallace's shill son's rearend on FAUX. Go, Durbin! I feel slightly better about our party now, but I never would have known if some kind DUer hadn't posted about it.

Thank to all of you who post about the corporate media. I do appreciate it. You have a stronger stomach than I do. Not only do you have to watch that drivel, you then feel well enough to write about it! Wow. Thanks again!;-) :toast:

2. I'm all about good news
I post good Dem news and activism stories all the time. Once in a while I go off on the Bushies, but it's so depressing I try not to get in that rut. We need to remember what it is we're trying to accomplish and that there are lots of people out there picking up that torch every day.
