About that weird jaw jutting thing with *
I believe some refer to it as "coke-jaw". I disagree. Couldn't it just as easily be a stupid mannerism like all his other stupid mannerisms? Everything about the guy is fake. He probably thinks it looks macho.:puke: :puke: :puke: :puke:

1. I think he's on ADD medication.
One of my good friends had a child on Straterra and on Adderall. Both made her son have jaw grinding and facial tics.

11. "I watched alot of bush speeches for an internship"
I'm sorry about that. I guess everyone has to "pay their dues," well, everyone but GWB.

3. Disagree
First, it's not a jaw jutt. The jaw moves and grinds from one side to the other.
Second, he does not appear to be in control of it or many other mannerisms he has been exhibiting lately. Have you noticed how many times he appears with lips sucked in. A very unattractive look and definitely not macho looking; more persnickerty old lady look.
Third, his appearance these days is shit. His skin tone is bad, his eyes are puffy, and he just look terrible. Certainly, those things are not effected for the purpose of looking "macho."
I think you give him far too much credit.

5. Well, I have to admit
that it makes me sick to watch him or listen to him, so I haven't for several years. I'm just depending on the descriptions I read here.

4. He can't even finish a sentence ...
how do you think he can concentrate enough to put the jaw thing in as often as he does? Then again, maybe the jaw thing is taking up all his concentration and that's WHY he can't finish a sentence?

"Gotta werk hard -- <no, wait, it's time to do the jaw thing> -- werkin' hard, gittin' the job done -- <gotta do another jaw thing again> -- terra, terra, terra!"

Naw ... he looks drunk all the time now and is aging in dog years. He's a fake, but I don't think he's faking that.

:silly:

9. SmirkStop- I notice he doesn't smirk nearly as often as he did
before he started this jaw thing.
Coached, maybe?

10. If it was really "jutting jaw" a la Musollinni (sp?) I'd believe it,
but this is more of a grinding teeth, locking jaw tension thing, IMO.

He's overwhelmed by the job.

12. Watching him yesterday
I remarked at the time that his jaw was swiveling like a mechanical bull in a redneck bar. I don't think it's conscious. It interrupts him in mid-sentence and happens without acknowledgement.

14. It"s called Tardive Dyskinesia
Tardive dyskinesia is a neurological syndrome caused by the
long-term use of neuroleptic drugs. Neuroleptic drugs are
generally prescribed for psychiatric disorders, as well as for
some gastrointestinal and neurological disorders. Tardive
dyskinesia is characterized by repetitive, involuntary,
purposeless movements. Features of the disorder may include
grimacing, tongue protrusion, lip smacking, puckering and
pursing, and rapid eye blinking. Rapid movements of the arms,
legs, and trunk may also occur. Involuntary movements of the
fingers may appear as though the patient is playing an
invisible guitar or piano.

I've been stalking this page for a while because I am new to debating about politics. I'm always interested in hearing people's opinions, though.

18. It's fun, for the most part, just don't take any criticism personally.
Sometimes some folks can get a bit overheated, or a tad testy. Just let it roll on by. ;)

And the news and article links are fabulous.

19. We call it "chewing air hoagies".
And it's not just sticking out his jaw, his whole mouth moves in circles. They amp him up on something anytime he has to speak publicly.
