End the Incompetence -
A Republican controlled Congress has enabled a bankrupt Republican administration to bring the Peter Principle of mismanagement, cronyism and pork to national prominence as national policy.

Three common threads tell the tale: Federal spending, Federal contracts and, of course, Federal appointees.. It's worthwhile to note we pay for all three in taxes.

The Bill of Goods from the Bush Administration.

Iraq - They have no real plan, but they have a good PR team. Democracy comes with a gun, essential troop safety is at the top of our list, 'though you can't see our list, and privatization is a great success, if you look the other way. Political appointees will handle the details. Sold?

Medicare - They have no real, doable plan, but they have a good PR team. The drug benefit is nearly incomprehensible, but insurance companies seem to understand it, though. Sold?

Deficit - They have no real plan, but they have a good PR team. "It doesn't matter" is a new Republican policy. (See also look the other way.) We're not going to pay the bill, but there's an American down the road who will. Sold and resold?

Security - They have no real plan, but they have lots and lots of good PR. A bunch of flags, a few words and a few photo ops work. As do a lot of contracts, when the rubber hits the pork. Montana needs our help. (New Orleans is a local problem.) Sold?

FEMA - They have no real plan, but hey, they really don't want FEMA and who would ever think a hurricane would hit New Orleans, anyway? It's the locals fault. "I know a guy who knows a guy who can help us" is NOT a resume. Sold?

The Federal Government itself - They really don't have a federal plan, and don't want an accountable federal government, but if you dismantle it one piece at a time, no one will notice. They want federal contracts. And their appointees will tell you it's OK.
Oh, and it's your fault. Sold?

2. How about - " End the Screw-ups"
Incompetence is accurate, but it sounds like it could be solved by a bunch of middle managers with clip-boards. You boss at work might be incompetent but get away with it for years, however, when he makes a colossal SCREW-UP and looses the big account - he gets fired.
