Craig Crawford told Ron Reagan that it's such a long time to
2006 that DeLay out of the picture may hurt Dems because they planned to run against him as a symbol of GOP crap.

Well, if the Dems can't packaged DeLay, Frist and the whole lot of them into a nice little presentation with a bow on top, then they are totally helpless!!

And the DeLay contacts seem to be the sort of gifts that can keep on giving.....

4. I disagree
Delay will still be in office just not majority leader. Also,
Delay will fight the indictment causing an ongoing headline grabber. Frist is also in the picture. A pattern can easily be established

6. It's only a little over 13 months
He is indicted. Unless he plea bargins, how long will it be before this goes to trial. Seems it will be pretty recent, if not still pending in Nov 2006

7. How long will it take to reach a conviction?
I predict he will be convicted in late 2006 anywhere between June to December.
