CNN just announced Delay indicted on one count of criminal conspiracy!

Republican conference must vote on whether Delay must step down as majority leader. No House rule exists that requires members of Congress to step down from their congressional posts.

The key word is "temporarily," of course, but I believe he has to step down if officially indicted.

The bad news is, the penalty for one count is minimal.
