Liberals get their chance when conservatives screw up
royally, which they inevitably do.

Someone said that in an interview in the last 6 months, possibly on the Al Franken show.

True enough. Of course sometimes we just get lucky and have a charismatic candidate, ie Bill Clinton.

Down through history, there are swings to the right and swings to the left.

But how did we ever get this polarized?

By plan of the religious right, as shown in the documentary that has played on Sundance occasionally "With God, Bush." It shows the rise of the rr.

And in an unholy alliance with the neo conservatives.

There's a potentially toxic combination.

1. We need to revisit the thoughts of
FDR, Truman and JFK for some healing. They had a way to win and silence the repug jerks.

Get that base re-energized again.
