Poll question: Will the Republicans have destroyed itsself by 2008?
With waning confidence in the Republican party, do you think that it will have destroyed itself by 2008?

2. The Republican Party has almost already destroyed itself.
By the slow response to Katrina and Gov. Bob Taft's illegal activities, the Repubs have severely damaged their chances in two important swing states. Tom Delay, their House leader, is in deep doo-doo. Schwarzenegger, their superhero, and Santorum, their pit bull, are about to lose their positions. The war in Iraq has ruined their foreign policy credentials, and the economy is in the crapper. The Republican Party has driven itself into the ground, now it's up to the Democrats to steamroll over it.
