I hadnt heard him before. Hes a lot like Hackett. Ex-coast guard and lost everything in Miss.

Very critical of Bush but with intelligence. He knows his stuff

Not bad to look at either. I heard him speak at the 12 mile south coalition rally about a week or two before Katrina.

6. This guy is great.
He used to be my Rep when I lived in MS. Sometime during the early 1990's Congress voted themselves a huge payraise...he voted against it...but it passed. He took the money that he would have made from it and created a college scholarship program for underpriviledged kids.

Big ups to Gene.
