4. I'd fail him in Kindergarten

It's changed since I was in it. It's not about fingerpainting and blocks anymore. The standards have been elevated.

Here are the items in which Bush would not get very good grades at all:

Listening and Speaking Standards: Students can follow two-step oral directions. They speak clearly when sharing ideas. Students speak in complete, easily understood sentences. Students recite familiar poems and rhymes. They can tell about a personal experience in a simple sentence.

They make reasonable predictions about new stories based on the illustrations and context. Students know the difference between real and make-believe stories. They can identify the characters, setting, and important events in familiar stories.

Personal Responsibility: Practices self-control; Cooperates with adults; Respects rights & property of others; Interacts appropriately with peers; Cleans up after self.

Bottom line: He does NOT know how to "work and play well with others".
