Brown to take the Fall
Bill Kristol got the word out today on FoxNews, and you can be sure he was fed the line by Bushies- Brown must go. I imagine Rudy is on a plane to NOLA now. Someone always takes the blame for Bush and I imagine they knew better than to ask Colin Powell to do it again.

5. No, Brown was the college buddy of war profiteer Joe Allbaugh
Bush brought Allbaugh (who had been Bush's campaign manager, with no relevant experience) in to head FEMA and gut it and turn its duties over to private contractors. 911 stopped the explicit gutting, but Allbaugh and Bush continued to strip FEMA of budget, programs and experienced staff. In less than a year Allbaugh left to start a consulting firm making big bucks off of Iraq, and his lapdog, Brown, who had been No. 2 at FEMA was promoted.

It is hard to keep straight all the undercover connections between Bush and all the many incompetent political hacks, and
incompetent, inexperienced children of big donors whom he has polluted every federal agency with.

2. Of course he will (and should) be fired--but so should Chertoff.
Substitute "al-Qaeda" for Katrina and see if they would have reacted the same way.

4. Brown will be rewarded with lobbying job so he keeps his mouth shut.
You better believe that Brown will end up making twice as much money next year - he'll be brought into war profiteer Joe Allbaugh's "consulting" firm. The GOP will take very good care of Brown because he knows what the hidden agenda of Bush was re gutting FEMA and privatizing its services to benefit fat cat donors to Bush and the GOP.

The REALLY CRITICAL thing is who will replace him - will they finally choose a competent person with a demonstrated career success in emergency management, or will it be another Bush puppet? Of course he should get rid of that nightmare Chertoff also because, believe me, Brown was just a little lapdog and Chertoff was calling the shots for Bush.
