Star Witness Against Cheerleader's Murderous Mom Dies (Sort of Political)
http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/rssstory.mpl/metropolitan/3327266

This is an article about the famous "Texas Cheerleader Mom" who tried to have her daughter's rival's mother murdered, which seemed to have nothing to do with politics until this appeared:

One issue everyone involved agrees on is that Hollywood and the media have turned the real people in this story into cartoon caricatures.

"It made Texas look like its people all had big hats with red necks and were uneducated. It was an insult," said Heath, who still lives in the area.

Gee, I thought it was the idiots the people of Texas elect to represent them that were making Texans look uneducated.

Kind of like how everyone in Indiana suffered by association regarding Dan Quayle.
