Who Killed Casey Sheehan?
Why, it's one of the guys pResident Weakenstupid is letting take over Iraq...

"There are some things that George Bush should know about Casey Sheehan should he choose to sit down and talk with his mom. ...
Perhaps the conversation ought to start about the other seven men who died on April 4, 2004 in Sadr City.
From the Army’s 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas were:
Sgt. Yihjyh L. Chen, 31, of Saipan, Marianas Protectorate.
Spc. Robert R. Arsiaga, 25, of San Antonio, Texas.
Spc. Stephen D. Hiller, 25, of Opelika, Ala.
Spc. Ahmed A. Cason, 24, of McCalla, Ala.
Spc. Israel Garza, 25, of Lubbock, Texas.
From the Army’s 2nd Battalion, 37th Armor Regiment, 1st Brigade, 1st Armored Division, Ray Barracks, Friedberg, Germany was Sgt. Michael W. Mitchell, 25, of Porterville, Calif.
And, from Casey’s unit, the 1st Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas was Cpl. Forest J. Jostes, 22, of Albion, Ill.
Maybe George Bush could clarify why these men died. According to several press reports, they were attacked and killed by forces loyal to Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr. And where is al-Sadr today? He’s a player in the Shiite community in Iraq which is on the verge of installing Islam as the basis of government in Iraq. In effect, Casey and his comrades were killed by people whose leaders are on the verge of taking control in Iraq."

3. Hell, the same guy who fed BushCo the "flowers & candy" line
...and whose house was later torn apart because he passed secret intelligence to Iran, is now the Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister and Oil Minister: Ahmed Chalabi. (His nephew has a post within the government as well.) Chalabi worked closely with the Office of Special Ops(?)/Feist-crew to fabricate intelligence to support the invasion. He's a known crook; the Iraqis detest him.

I remember Chalabi swearing he had no interest in a government position before we invaded...he just wanted to "help free Iraq". So much for his humility. So much for holding people accountable -- not THIS administration!

who fled Jordan rather than serve a term in prison...

Chimpy has just the NICEST friends...Ken Lay, Ahmed Chalabi, Osama Bin Laden....

15. My bad
Where I come from, "Good for you" is always said with a contempuous sneer. Must be a New York thing.

17. I know what you mean...
But I really did MEAN "good for you"...as in "I'm glad you did"...

I transplanted to New York City in 1969 and only moved away nine years ago....and I guess I've stopped hearing that inflection to the phrase.

"Yeah, right" is another NewYorkerism that means just the opposite there...

5. W even gets played by the likes of Sadr
a legacy living off his father's .... oh hold on let me get back to the point.

Remember when Sadr was public enemy #1 in Iraq (hadn't caught Saddam at that point, needed a distraction) and Fox and their alkalites had hourly updates on how close Sadr was to not only capture but a ruthless PUNISHING death? Remember that?

Old W found out that Sadr wasn't going anywhere and there really wasn't a damned thing he could do about it (with cover from Sistani for sure) so they let it pass and turned the focus back on Zarqawi(remember HIM?)..and so on and so on.

Sadr effectively runs part of the legislature now.

Sad truly truly sad.

6. Funny how that works....
One wonders how right wingers avoid whiplash from the sudden changes of direction...

You'll love this bit of crap from the Reverend Moon's brainWashington Times in the spring of 2004:

"Sheik al-Sadr, who has traveled to Iran and met with its hard-line Shi'ite clerics, is an ardent foe of the United States who wants all foreign troops to leave.
The United States suspects that his goal is to create a hard-line Shi'ite regime in Iraq modeled after Tehran's government. Military sources said Sheik al-Sadr is being aided directly by Iran's Revolutionary Guard, which plays a large role in running that country, and by Hezbollah, an Iranian-created terrorist group based in Lebanon.
One of the sources said these two organizations are supplying the cleric with money, spiritual support and possibly weapons. "Iran does not want a success in Iraq," the source said.
"A democratic Iraq is a death knell to the mullahs." Sheik al-Sadr upped the ante during the weekend by calling for his 3,000-strong militia, the Army of the Mahdi, to begin attacking coalition forces. His fiery words touched off attacks throughout southern Iraq.
The Coalition Provisional Authority in Baghdad announced on Monday that an Iraqi judge months ago had issued an arrest warrant for Sheik al-Sadr on a charge of murdering a moderate Shi'ite cleric. "

And now Al Sadr creating that hard-line Shi'ite regime IS what pResident Weakenstupid is defining as "success"...

8. Fundamentalists make up his core support....
I've long said that somebody should ask pResident Weakenstupid at a press conference (on the rare occasion he has one) if he actually DOES believe in the Rapture....

18. THAT's appeasement....
The right was quick to scream that anyone who asked questions about this war was "appeasing Saddam" but they've been curiously silent about REAL appeasement by the Republicans and pResident Weakenstupid.

Osama demanded the US out of Saudi Arabia and a theocracy in Iraq...

Muqtada al Sadr demanded a Shi'ite-dominated theocracy in Iraq...

12. Why Casey Sheehan Was Killed
Why Casey Sheehan Was Killed
by Aaron Glantz

Since President Bush won’t meet with Cindy Sheehan to explain why her son Casey died in Iraq, I thought I would put forward the information I have. Like Army Specialist Casey Sheehan, I was in Baghdad’s Sadr City on April 4, 2004.

I was there as an unembedded journalist. Unlike Casey Sheehan, I wasn’t killed.
