I am seriously impressed by Clark's accomplishments and intellect....
He is not my candidate, however, the guy is flat-out impressive. Much more academically brilliant than I had thought he was. I'd definitely say he's the scholar of the whole group of candidates. Not that they aren't all smart, because they sure are. Just giving Clark some well deserved props. Some links.

2. Ain't a Rhodes Scholar for nothin'...
Thanks for your Clark props. The guy's intellect is what initially sold me - and what keeps the Freepers up at night. Oh PLEASE can I see a Clark/Bush debate? I'd pay huge money for that.

5. "Well, when I was Supreme Allied Commander......."
Ouch. That would be tough to make a comeback against. It would take a better man than Bush to respond to that one decently.

6. I agree, Bill.
He's got a great big brain, which is one of the most attractive things about him, for me. :)

8. Clark
He's easy on the eyes, too. My sister has dubbed him Sexy Wesley.

7. Da Brain
Clark is definitely the intellectual heavyweight of the crowd.

Can you imagine Clark crushing chimpy in the debates? It would be like Godzilla fighting, well, a chimp. My goodness, I get so excited thinking about it!

10. I agree. The man is impressive.
I'm still undecided amongst three candidates (Clark included), but Clark has impressed me with his intellect. :)

12. Nice of you to say so
I wish more DUers would listen to him and read more of his policies, before he is flicked off like a mosquito. He's not only got a fine mind and extraordinary leadership ability, but he's a good guy, too. A really decent person who wants the best for the country and the world. Thanks again.

14. That's not what he meant
He was pointing out that new innovations will spur the next job market, not that he wanted to ship jobs to India. Excerpted from a recent letter:

"I strongly believe that we need to examine the tax structure of corporations that send jobs abroad and use taxes as an incentive to keep jobs at home. Additionally, by enforcing internationally recognized core labor and environmental standards fewer countries will meet these criteria, resulting in keeping more jobs in America."

15. So you don't want us to try to create new jobs?
Because that's what the man was saying. The jobs that have been outsourced at cheap rates are probably gone. We should be working intensely toward creating new technologies that will create new classes of jobs.
