1. Kerry's campaign nationwide is a mess.
It's okay in Iowa, but elsewhere it is a disaster.

17. Kerry.

I won't say Kerry's campaign was the worst Presidential campaign I've even seen. That award goes to...

The 1988 Gary Hart for President campaign.

"...Go ahead and follow me. you'll be bored...."

Ooopsie.

That said, Kerry's campaign after yesterday performance on CNN Late Edition is making a strong bid for second worst. I'm gonna be telling "Kill 'em and Eat 'em" jokes for years to come.

3. Some one's been voting against Edwards all night
Every poll out there, there always seems to be this one vote against Edwards.

4. Who voted against Clark?
I mean this literally makes no sense. Is this just mindless spite expressing itself in a mouse-click?

What gives?

9. he entered a race for president with no positions on anything
that is organized ? logical ?

at least the others knew where they stood (when they were not flip flopping)

Edwards entered this with a well articulated plan and he was working a full time job prior to jumping in.

The general's excuse was ?

13. Making no sense

He entered the race with no positions papers, now he's fleshed out a very full suite of plans:

http://www.clark04.com/issues

He entered the race with ~1 million in pledges, but little actual cash. Now the rumor is that he'll end the quarter with 12 million.

His webpage sucked upon entering; now it's great.

He's got a large number of campaign offices, has racked up endorsements, and while polls vary, they seem to be trending up for him.

This is disorganized? This is the most disorganized? Especially starting late, in the media spotlight?

Another thing: this asked who has run the most disorganized campaign, not who had the most public and rushed and difficult entry? Unless you are trying to mindlessly limn a candidate, then you should choose someone other than Clark on this poll.

5. Braun lost out to LaRouche, gets my vote
In Virginia, Carol Moseley-Bruaun was the only one of the nine legitimate Democratic candidates who didn't file petitions in time to get on the Feb. 10 primary. LaRouche (avert!) will be on the ballot, but she won't. So I guess she's now officially even less legit than LaRouche.

Failure to file is not a good sign.

8. Kerry
They started with a great candidate with a good warchest, and messed it up. One, they didn't stress his liberal credentials enough in the primary. Secondly, they packaged Kerry poorly, trying to make him "cool" instead of turning the 'aloof aristocrat' meme into a strength. Third, Kerry did not take the initiative. He let others frame the debate and let others spend a lot of money early. Making the election about Howard Dean instead of John Kerry exacerbated this. Now Kerry needs to win NH or IA to survive, or a very strong showing in both if he wants to be the "anti-Dean."

Fortunately for Dean, a lot of Kerry's supercool staffers are now working for the Clark campaign. :7

10. Kerry
because Dean dethroned him as the front runner back in the summer, he's been desperately trying to reclaim that position. He's waffling at every turn. If this poll was tkane two months ago it would have been Clark, but his campaign is so much more organized now.

11. An unbiased assessment up to this point
would lead me to say Kerry. And believe it or not, he's NOT my least favorite candidate.

15. John "It's About Leadership" Kerry Can't Lead His Own Campaign
Compared to the Kerry campaign, Gore's 2000 campaign ran like Swiss watch.

Kerry provides ample reason why only two senators have been elected president in the last 100 years. Sitting on committees and voting on things does not mean you know how to run things.

18. I'm shocked that Kerry is running away with this poll.
I thought that a couple of candidates would be much closer. Not to name names, but there are two others out there that I thought would give Kerry a good run for his money, but I'm obviously wrong.

Hummmm....this is an interesting look at the pulse of DU and I honestly think this poll probably reflects more of an "insiders" view.
