Moveon is hosting nationwide rallies/petition drives tomorrow. If you don't have plans to attend one, consider re-thinking. Roberts is bad on so many fronts, regardless of whether your concerns are civil rights, civil liberties, choice, the environment, etc.

If you were attending one today, double-check the date. Some Moveon team leaders jumped the gun and were planning to have rallies today but postponed as Moveon is sending out the information about the events today. Other organizations are having events today. I understand that Planned Parenthood is planning events today. Other organizations may also be having events today. If you are attending a peace rally today, bring information on Roberts and give the rally a duel purpose.

I've heard that a lot of people on the Internet just do the Internet, but I would have been expecting some of the people here to be activists.

2. i've been to moveon events before

in minneapolis. mostly old hippies out to fight another day.

unfortunately wehre i am now, there aren't any rallies close by.
