Oh, "F" ME...now PICKLES is "standing by her very good friend Karl Rove"
WASHINGTON -- Time magazine reporter Matthew Cooper, a key figure in the Karl Rove controversy, showed up at U.S. District Court on Wednesday. The grand jury investigating the leak was meeting, and it was expected Cooper would testify. He did not comment while entering the courthouse.

Meanwhile, President Bush and first lady Laura Bush are standing by Rove, whose role in the leak of an undercover CIA officer's identity has prompted Democrats to call for dismissal of the president's top political adviser.

Mrs. Bush, talking to reporters while traveling in Africa on Wednesday, called Rove "a very good friend" whom the Bushes have known for many years.

"It would be irresponsible for me to speculate on any of it," she said, "so I think I'll leave the speculation to you all and I'll leave the investigation" to the prosecutor.

2. I guess they wanted a *female*

...to cast Rove as a "very good friend" rather than Scotty... because that raises old questions about a certain night-club in Austin.

than W? She's got the cheeks, the slight curve of her top lip, and the U shaped bottom lip. Anybody see strings???

7. In the "Rovian" spirit
Just how "good" a friend is Karl, Laura? Can you describe any "distinguishing marks" on him? Inquiring minds want to know! I mean, it must be lonely there with hubby spending so much time in private conferences with Condi....

24. OK, I can go with that
So Laura, have you and Karl and Jeff spent any "entertaining" evenings together? Being a proper first lady, can we presume that you only watched? Or did they need a little "encouragement"? :spank:

9. Let's hope they ALL lash themselves to Karl Rove!
So when turdboy sinks into the depths, he drags the entire fucking Republican party down to Davy Jones Locker with him.

10. So are Presidential advisors chosen for loyalty or skill?
Pickles is sinking her hubby's boat. She may think she's offering the aid of a good character reference, but emphasizing how tight they are with Rove is just leans people toward implicating Shrub.

If Rove is such a very good friend of them, the Shrubs might wind up being accomplices in the crime. Since these three are claimed to be so close, how much did Chimpy know?

13. Sigh....
I really don't get them, I guess I'll never get them. For 8 years I had to hear them create stories about and exaggerate everything Clinton did. The Republicans blamed him for everything he did (admittedly) wrong during his terms, they did it right down to blaming him for when they stubbed their toes in the morning ("Ow, my toe- it's Clinton's fault, damnit!"). Now when it's their "Good Ol' Boy" it's "He did nothing wrong. Rove deserves a medal, if anything! Bush is the greatest President we've ever had, for standing up for his advisor". Can someone please explain it to me? Please?

Would you buy a car if the salesman's wife showed up to explain the finer points?

speak! She's more popular than her husband so maybe, more people will believe her.:eyes: *'s connection to heaven is temporarily disconnected due to nonpayment of heavenly good deeds.

they are trotting out pickels to do the pResident's job - it is really bad. And only the wingnuts are speaking up, where's Harpy Hagel, Freedom Fries Frist, Curious George Allen, Loopy Lugar, Bobblehead Bennett, they are MIA or maybe they now have CIA, operational cover and it would be a crime to out themselves!

25. I'm sure the Bushies are depending on Rove to orchestrate the coverup
What will happen is that Rove will bring them all down with him. He has no allegience but to himself (well, and maybe the Dark Lord).

This is so stupid - Laura coming on stage and saying, "I loves me some Rove. mmmm mmm. He so nice."

:wtf:
