Think about it?

Even if he is brought up on charges, he'll get pardonned.

6. Yup. O'Donnel sounded very brazen the last two days...
tonight he sounded like he was presenting the story in whipped cream surrounded by clouds, enveloped in miles and miles of fluffy petticoats. What gives? If he thinks that this thing is untouchable then he shouldn't tease us from the start.

lot of gobbledy gook I didn't quite follow....He also said Bush probably didn't know whether Rove had leaked...He said Bush wouldn't want to know so wouldn't ask him....

o'donnell's point, as i took it...
was that rove might not *technically* be guilty of the criminal offense, in that he might be "unqualified", ie. that he didn't have the requisite status in the first place to have the information he then disseminated (plame).

this doesn't mean he's not guilty of ANY offense, just the one in question. and it doesn't mean it wouldn't be catastrophic to the administration to have the story play out in front of a prosecutor.

I'm using it for the duration ... thank you in advance!

Bad thing is he'll undoubtedly do something else so nefarious you'll have to come up w/a new one soon.

We remember the DSM story don't we folks? That was on the charts for about 15 minutes last week.

And the Rove/Plame story has just peaked....

12. The DSM story did its part in informing the people of the depraved
nature of this administration.

The Plame case has a special prosecutor, it has potential.

Games aren't always won with home runs. Singles and doubles can rack up the score.

18. Looks like a balk to me!
Hopefully with the bases loaded and Judith Miller is forced in to score from third. She tells all. (It was Novak's fault - he was catching and gave pitcher Rove the wrong sign.)

when O'Donnell first opened his mouth about Rove, then they wouldn't be so disappointed.

When will people learn?

17. Planting seeds of doubt is good. We need to keep chipping away
at the Junta. Bush is damaged goods, and it is because of some big failures, and the little things that may pop up for a few days then disappear. They may not take him down, but it will contribute to the eventual collapse of the Junta.

21. I was surprised.
He seemed to be subdued and saying there is nothing on Rove. Maybe his boss told him to back off because a call was made. I think that Cooper and Miller will be in jail for a few months. The GJ will indicte none and this story fades down the memory hole.

22. I think we've been sucker punched again!
I'm getting the deep down feeling we've been had again.

Novak is too smart of a guy to be standing on the sidelines while Cooper and Miller get grilled. What worries me is what if novak and Rove know that the outing of Plame was instigated by Cooper or Miller in an pre-election attempt to nail the shrub and his dog rover.

I just hope and pray this is not another Rathergate thing!
