Dancing on graves
George Bush once again perched on the graves of the victims of September 11, continuing to use fear and sense of terror to stop his disapproval freefall. He is not the first Republican to recall the shadows of 9/11, and he won't be the last, though as President of the United States he is supposed to above such venal politics.

But to make things worse, George Bush has continued to peddle the lie that somehow Saddam Hussein had some connection with 9/11, when he himself stated "We've had no evidence that Saddam Hussein was involved with the September 11 attacks." He continues to mention both Iraq and September 11 in the same breath (multiple times in his speech), and continues to associate the fight against terrorists with the invasion of Iraq. Tragically, over 1700 American soldiers and over one hundred thousand innocent Iraqi civilians have paid the ultimate price for that lie.

I think it will be appreciated especially by those who lost loved ones on 911, because from what I've read, that's how many of them feel.
