Hey...PSSST... I Have A Deal For You
How about your Clark supporters, my Kerry supporters, her Dean supporters and his Edwards supporters get together and combine our resourses to beat...

GEORGE W. BUSH!!!!

Jeeez, you know what these insane arguments sound like?

It sounds like starving people arguing over whether they want well-done or medium rare hamburgers.

Just be happy you get a chance to eat again.

:argh:

19. After Iowa CL
I still like Kucinich a lot, and I support him, would still donate my time and money for him, but now after Iowa I support Kerry equally. Frankly Ive always liked Kerry, hes all around liberal on the issues plus hes electable, more than Kucinich at least, and he is a great dude too. The good thing :), I havent got crap for doing this, most of the other DK supporters respect my decision. I wish I could work for both of these guys, I am glad Kerry came back. Oh and I like Edwards too. My top 3 as of today: Kucinich,Kerry,Edwards.

11. How about doing this first....
get your candidate to re-address his "Florida is crying in their Tea Cups" statement on the 2000 election, before we show his Yankee ass what a real Boston Tea Party is....

You want to do that first buddy?

Go ahead post to his blog, you support him right?

13. I'm not talking specifically about Kerry
I'd line up behind Clark in a second if he's the nominee. I hold no grudges.

Why can't everyone else do the same. Is purity more important than unifying goal of beating Bush?

15. Sure, I'll line up behind Kerry, if he'll re-address that issue...
Edited on Sun Jan-25-04 04:54 PM by deminflorida
I will email every paper in Florida and start a letter writing campaign to Max Cleland if necessary to get him to address that one issue.

He may have a win without the south strategy, but lets see him win without the south and Florida.

17. "if"
I wish I had your pride. I just want to beat Bush and I don't care if it's Lieberman who has to accomplish that. I'm behind whomever the nominee is, no IF, EH, or BUTS

16. Here you go then. WRPitt addressed this in his interview recently
December 2003

"WRP: In terms of the 2004 campaign, the central argument put up by a lot of people in the Democratic base who are against you is that you don’t “get it.” They see other candidates as fighting for their progressive values, and they see you saying “Get over it” after the election debacle in Florida, as quoted by the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. In contrast, your voting record in the Senate is clearly as progressive as the day is long. Where do you stand with the progressive community? Do you “get it”? Can you be their leader?

JK: I believe that I am the most consistent, most accomplished progressive fighter in this entire field. My record over 35 years of standing up and fighting for progressive causes is clear on with respect to women, with respect to the environment, with respect to children, education, health care, our role in the world, human rights, civil rights. My record is stronger, longer and deeper than any other candidate in this field with respect to the progressive agenda of this party.

When I say “Move on” from 2000, I’m as angry as anyone else. Votes ought to be counted. But my objective is to win. My objective is “Don’t get mad, get even.” They way you get even is to go out and take that agenda to the country and build a coalition around it."

18. That's good but what he needs to say is hey I'm John Kerry, I'm
a real person and I'm sorry that my Tea Cup statement insulted the entire democratic population in Florida. I was mad too, and the point of we need to move on could have been better expressed by me in a manner other than saying Floridians were crying in their Tea Cups, especially since this is such a sensitive subject in that state.
