How the bush’s became the new Aristocrat Joke
I'm referring to the Aristocrat joke that, according to imdb.com has been made into a movie to be release in July where several comedians, including Bob Saget, tell the same joke with their own very dirty embellishments.

The point of the joke is that people are so desperate that they will do anything, no matter how disgusting, to become famous. My view of the joke is that here we have the fabulously wealthy bush family. They are so desperate for power that they are literally selling their souls and the souls of our countrymen to achieve their own personal glory.

Now to the joke, for those who haven't heard it. Even without embellishments it’s rated 'R.'

A show-biz family walks into a talent agent's office and the father says we’ve got a great act to show you. The gent says, 'OK shoot.' Then each family member rips off their clothes and they all have sex with each other. The agent, mouth open in disbelief, says, 'And what do you call such an act as this?' And the father says, 'The Aristocrats!' The end.

The joke has the additional bonus of jabbing the Aristocrats for being inbreds.

Now as far as I’m concerned, if you think that’s desperate, wait till you hear what the bush family did to end up in the White House and take America to war. The bushes are the new Aristocrats and they’re really quite disgusting.

In fact, think of Tom Delay and the entire gop-gulag-loving-group and you have the consummate new Aristocrats.

1. I don't get it? Okay - yes the royal family is inbred. But beyond that?
How is this funny?

2. Its not funny by itself. The wild embellishments make it funny.
By itself, the joke isn't that funny, but in the hands of a good comedian, its a riot. The comedians add things to what the family does.

I understand the joke's been around since Vaudville and it was one of Johnny Carson's favorite gags.

4. I still cannot see Johny thinking that was funny. Johnny was much
quicker than that! Are you sure this is true?

The film will be dedicated to Carson. Check out the link for the story of when they told the joke during a "Tonight Show" break.
