Our leaders intentionally lied to Congress and the American people to get us into an unnecessary war - a war of choice. They lied before the UN and now there are documents that detail their plans to "create the conditions" to invade Iraq. The conditions were not there - they had to be "created". This is the most serious charge that can be placed against any government official. They lied to get us into war and many people have died because of those lies. To pretend it is OK because of what happened on 9/11 does not justify the lies.

I'm sorry but I saw that this was a lie from the get go. I could just tell and I KNOW dem senators saw it too but were too afraid to go against W and the wave of people wanting revenge for 9/11 but were too stupid to tell that this had nothing to do with it. I knew it and I know Kerry and the likes knew it. He and the other dems that voted to give W authority just didn't have the backbone to speak up.
