ChimpCo Inc. Corporate M$M whores are scared shitless of DSM....
They now know that the majority of US citizens no longer support smirky's illegal and idiotic adventures in Iraq. The Downing Street minutes, and the newly revealed supporting documents can sink this corrupt administration, and the traitorous media whores are well aware of that fact.

How much longer can they manage to hide the truth from the American people?

1. The MSM whores will drop Fearless Leader
only when they see what a groundswell is building and that there will be some big time payback.

They are afraid of the Fearless leader's whoredom because they know he's mean spirited and takes revenge on those who cross him.

The barbarians are at the gates. Choose wisely or die.

2. The media are trying to sidestep most of the
misdeeds of this administration by turning to Clinton-bashing. The first half of MTP was interesting. The second half was Bash Hillary time. I wanted to vomit. All of them were in mode. And I can't escape Judy Woodruff no matter how much I want because I think she will be a regular on Russerts "roundtable." They must be very scared of Sen. CLinton.

3. As soon as it becomes profitable to do so
For the corporate media (of which I am a part), it has very little to do with politics, red or blue, left or right. It's about the money -- the return to stockholders.

As soon as it becomes more profitable for media companies to question the president than it does for them to not question the president, you will quickly see a big change.

4. Yup, it is about the money
And wait until about, oh, I'm thinking 2007 with a real freshet after 2008 of books and titles from today's reporters, now kicked upstairs to "senior editor" positions, who will tell us all how they knew all along what a corrupt gaggle of assholes was running the country. They'll spend half of their $24.95 doorstops justifying their own journalistic cowardice, and the other half dishing all sorts of salacious details that they failed to report in real time when it could have save the country a lot of lives and money.

Then they'll hit the talk shows and listen while Tweety and Little Russ and all the rest of the usual suspects tell them how great and courageous they are to kick the lion's carcass.

5. Both of you hit the nail on the head.
It's all about the $$$$$$ and nothing else. Maybe a little power.

8. Who gives them more money? The corporations or people?
I see no reason for the pre$$ to abandon the Corpratocracy. It may be about money, but the media conglomerates concern themselves with billions, not thousands or millions.

9. Except defense contractors who own big media make more money WITH war.
They use their news divisions as fulltime public relations for BushInc. and his wars and coverups.

11. I find this hard to believe
sorry, NJ. they could be making millions uncovering *'s crimes. Someone could've run with his 5 arrests and that would have pulled in record ratings for two weeks. Christ, just showing coffins and photos of the Operation Flight Suit casualties would be a HUGE moneymaker.

No, the Cable "news" organizations are now all run by ultra-wingers, who take orders from Rove.

6. need to apply the pressure
many senators and representatives count on presidential coat-tails to help them in their re-election campaigns. They rally round the president, sometimes president will make some comment or a photo op to support the re-election bid.

with bush*'s numbers sinking - those coat tails could turn into a noose very quickly. the coat tails are not that long anymore.

There have been many postings on the DU about impeaching bush* -- all well and good - but impeachment process begins in the House - the house is controlled by a few radical repugs, and the moderate repugs are too scared to buck the reich-machine.

We need to apply pressure on those running for re-selection, let them know that if they continue to drink the kook-aid and wave their rubberstamps around that they will be kicked out in November '06.

Tell them you've had enough of the spin, the misleads, the overstating, the mis-underestimating, the manipulations, the corruption and out-right bald-face lies.

It's time to clean HOUSE and the Senate!

7. Chris Matthews Sunday talk show focused on bashing Dean and the Dems
Instead of discussing Repubs in Congress, Bolton, Iraq, DSM or any Bush problems, the entire show concentrated on Howard Dean and what all of the panel members perceived to be the current failings of the Democratic leadership while praising Bush, with a mention of how John Kerry's grades at Yale were worse than Bush implying that Kerry and Dems are phonies who can't appeal to American voters.

Obvious that these 'pundits' hope and expect this administration and Repubs to successfully continue along undeterred by any significant bumps in the road.

12. Well folks this Sunday's
talk shows should tell you, if you have not figured it out by now the mediawhores are not going to go after this reprobate of a president. Nope, most of your posts are dead solid perfect. Why go after Bush on the matter of the Downing Street memo (s) when we can bash Dean....bash Hillary, and nothing makes Russert day than talking about Clintons cock. I wonder if those talk shows also in their clips played the one about Hillary getting on their asses for the none reporting of important news stories. I would think not, and if they did, what was the question Russert would ask a reporter: Do you think she is right? Help me L-rd!!!! Oh and have any of you read on any sites the new book coming out about Hillary, saying the only reason she gave birth to Chelsea was to cover up her being a lesbian... Yep, that is what is coming down the road and folks if we do not begin to speak out aginst these reprobates on the right then we will never win back anything....and if we do not speak out then we sure as hell cannot expect anyone else to do it for us.... If you going to be a bear..... damnit...BE A GRIZZLEY!!!!

13. Give it a week
The news rags have just starting running with the story and generating "buzz". If it goes as I suspect, next week's shows will bring out the Talking Heads to debate it. This is just the beginning, not the end.
