Hal Holbrook was on fire ! "It's called morality!"

"He was doing it because there was a higher purpose involved," Holbrook said of Felt's decision to leak critical information to the Washington Post.

"People should get this in their brain today. The important thing was not who it was, but why he did it. It's called morality. That is something that is not very popular today."

The story and video of Holbrook:

2. I agree with him
It's hard for some to remember, those were scary times. The only thing that made it a bit less daunting than these days is that the technology was not quite as good as it is nowadays. There were no computers, so communication was harder, and less instantaneous. But a lot of people felt like they were living under a cloud, like many do today.

7. I know his wife is a Republican (shudder)
If Holbrook is, he's a little more level-headed than most of them.
