Memorial Day DISGRACE: "Cheney offended by Amnesty criticism"
FUCK this colostomy bag-wearing, heart-attack-waiting-to-happen, draft-dodging, Halliburton Blood Money motherfu**king POS.

http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/05/30/cheney.amnestyintl/index.html

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Vice President Dick Cheney said Monday he was offended by Amnesty International's condemnation of the United States for what it called "serious human rights violations" at Guantanamo Bay.

"For Amnesty International to suggest that somehow the United States is a violator of human rights, I frankly just don't take them seriously," he said in an interview that was to air Monday night on CNN's "Larry King Live."

"Just in this administration, we've liberated 50 million people from the Taliban in Afghanistan and from Saddam Hussein in Iraq, two terribly repressive regimes that slaughtered hundreds of thousands of their own people."

(William) Schulz (Executive Director of AI) responded to Cheney's comments: "It doesn't matter whether he takes Amnesty International seriously. "He doesn't take torture seriously; he doesn't take the Geneva Convention seriously; he doesn't take due process rights seriously; and he doesn't take international law seriously. And that is more important than whether he takes Amnesty International seriously."

1. I can't watch it
Every question, no doubt, was reviewed by Cheney beforehand. It will be nothing but a huge PR Liberty-Bringin' Troop-Supportin' Lovefest.

2. This man can lie about anything
He was the one guy who kept saying that there was WMD in Iraq even after it was clear that there wasn't.

I don't think anyone could have said it better!

Maybe it's time people quit taking Dickhead Cheney seriously, hmmm??

It must have been the phrasing that I misinterpreted. Sorry....

22. Perhaps...
Or perhaps I should quit reading written posts with added (imagined) voice inflections? Kind of a hard habit to break, though....

:D

In any case, here's my new favorite picture of DickDick that you might like, too:

4. No problem Dick
We don't take you seriously either. You flip off members of congress and you expect people to take you seriously. Have some respect for others. You get what you give.

5. Well if we stopped abusing and torturing people, I expect
they'd stop accusing us of doing it. Seems pretty simple to me...

Hmmm... isn't putting the URL for the image in supposed to show the picture?

Any advice from experts out there?

11. I have three words for The First dick:
I'll even quote him, since he said them first - and in the hallowed halls of the Senate, to one far more respected than he'll ever be:

GO FUCK YOURSELF, dick.

Offended, are you? You are the offense, sweetie. You offend every decent American who genuinely and purely believes in peace and prosperity, and justice for all.

You are an abomination, dick. An opportunistic infection.

15. "Ladies and gentlemen, I'll be brief"
Edited on Mon May-30-05 09:42 PM by welshTerrier2
Cheney loves to deflect the accusations made by Amnesty International by defending the righteousness of the United States ... but it is not the United States that is guilty of "serious human rights violations"; it is the bush / cheney / neo-con administration ...

Cheney's pathetic wrapping himself in the flag reminded me of the following scene from the movie Animal House:

Ladies and gentlemen, I'll be brief. The issue here is not whether we broke a few rules, or took a few liberties with our female party guests -- we did. But you can't hold a whole fraternity responsible for the behavior of a few, sick twisted individuals. For if you do, then shouldn't we blame the whole fraternity system? And if the whole fraternity system is guilty, then isn't this an indictment of our educational institutions in general? I put it to you, Greg -- isn't this an indictment of our entire American society? Well, you can do whatever you want to us, but we're not going to sit here and listen to you badmouth the United States of America. Gentlemen! (Leads the Deltas out of the hearing, all humming the Star-Spangled Banner.)
