Biden warming up
Reminding the Repukes that 161 million people voted for 44 Senators, only 130 million people voted for the rest.

6. Keeps telling people that they should read what the AEI is saying!
Said the American public should go "READ" what these people believe...that they mean what they say....they are intellectuals with ideas and they mean to do exactly what they say....

Too bad he only mentioned the American Enterprise Institute....be nice if he made Americans aware of PNAC!

9. Biden is putting this in historical perspective
And that's important. Because this is about complete and utter dominance over the long period. Control of the judiciary means the repukes may NEVER LOSE ANOTHER ELECTION AGAIN. It's bigger than Roe v Wade, folks, it's about FREE AND FAIR ELECTIONS.

10. However, the AEI is where Cheney gives his big speeches & Lynne is fellow.
Evidently Cheney is really the one driving this train to neuter the Senate and put judges on the appellate court who will further the AEI agenda of rolling back The New Deal.

7. That was good.
Unfortunately, it will probably make little difference.

Biden said it was a power grab to undo the New Deal. I think he even called them LIARS on what they say about the rules.

8. I was very impressed with Biden. He was really saying it like it is.
However, I am not so hopeful as he obviously is, meaning that he feels that there will be a chance for the Democrats to come back in power. I am much more pessimistic, thinking that if the Senate is emasculated the NeoCons will be even more emboldened than they are now and our nation will sink into an abyss that we may never get out of.

11. Outstanding speech
About time we saw some real anger over this potential coup d'etat by Cheney. I normally have a lot of faith in my fellow citizens, but I believe a majority of them do not realize what may be happening right in front of our eyes: the destruction of the republic as we have known it for over 200 years. My greatest fear is that people will realize and speak up but it will be too late. It's heart wrenching to be a witness to this--I feel like it's one of those dreams in which I'm screaming and there's no sound.
