Dean on MTP just brought up Bolton and cooked intelligence
Why is that not good enough? He said there has been evidence that pressure was put on the intelligence community by Bolton and others to come up with intelligence that supported what we wanted to do in Iraq.

Why are we splitting hairs?

3. Immediately on the defensive
Those are the kinds of questions he asks. "Don't you think it was wrong for you to say such and such?" If Dean thought it was wrong, why would he say it.

4. Reread what you wrote.
Did you mean offensive? Because Dean wasn't defensive and Russert was on the attack.

5. sorry, I should have put in the subject
I meant Russert immediately puts people on the defensive. Those are the kind of questions he asks. Folks complained that Kerry was to defensive on his appearance. But those are the kind of questions Russert asks.
