3. Yes, his voice
Edited on Thu May-19-05 01:46 PM by Blue_In_AK
If he were president, we wouldn't have to all cringe every time we hear him on TV like we have to for that pretender who's in the WH now. I don't care what anybody says -- I love John Kerry.

Give 'em hell Kerry. His speeches can move people almost as well as John Edwards. Edwards was my pick in the primaries, but I had no problem supporting Kerry once Edwards was out. Oh hell, he just let it go.

5. Me too
I loved when he talked about protecting the minority. Yeah! He's doing so good! A smokescreen for what this fight really is about. :D Determined to deny the minority the right to hold the execuitive accountable. Yay!

6. Every time I hear/see him speak, I tear up, and I'm no crier...
I start watching him & it gets to me, I can't help getting emotional.
It's just that it's so obvious that HE SHOULD BE OUR PRESIDENT NOW.

I get a little emotional too. It's still tragic to me that he and his campaign for President was ambushed by Bush and his band of thieves.

12. I AM a crier
And sometimes I still cry like I did on Nov. 3rd -- like somebody died.

Sometimes it's because I wish he were our president. Sometimes it's in despair that our country will ever catch on to what's going on, or that they could have been so damn dumb. Sometimes it's because I've been listening to hate mongers, and I fear there are more of them than I realized.

14. In reality, he IS our Prez. And may be yet...if enough scandals emerge.
Such integrity.

8. He is great--even his body language
animated, passionate--

If only he could get that little issue of Iraq into perspective.

15. He looks like a Prez, talks like a Prez, and DID win by 5-8 Mil votes...
at best estimate.

How sad that instead we're suffering though this current Repug nightmare instead.

13. It kind of hurts watching him.....:(
He was talking like this during the campaign, and he is talking like that now. Half the nation didn't listen. Just painful, that the "majority" made a horrible mistake.

18. A joke I heard shortly after the election
It's a sad comment on our schools when over half of Americans got a multiple choice question with 2 choices wrong after having 4 years to study.

19. These speeches by Kennedy, Byrd, Kerry may be among the most important
given since the Continental Congress. If I was teaching a civics/government or history class right now, they would be watching every minute of this!

22. His George Washington story should be retold by us over and over and over
How the people heralded the idea that Congress didn't give Washington what he wanted.

We need to say that over and over again.

28. Oh my God
You guys got me worked up enough to watch the end. It breaks my heart but damn he said it-look into your souls and have courage. It's not about party, it's about Democracy, the constitution and doing what's right. I guess we will see if there are only bootlickers calling themselves Republicans with the unquestioned loyalty to this one man-George W. Bush and NOT America and NOT the constitution and NOT everything we are supposed to be.

Bottom line from Kerry: history will judge you.
