My thoughts
I hated politics, I avoided anything that smelled of politics until Dean came around. I saw one of his town hall speeches and was hooked. I never realized how despondent I was about our future until I heard him speak. I respect Kerry, Edwards, Clark, but they have never moved me like that. I've watched them stump since then, they still don't move me like that. No offense or criticism implied. Dean just grabbed my gut where things actually matter and made me cry. He makes me hope for a better future. I want this man to be president, I want this man to lead while my kids grow into adult-hood. I'll accept something less, but I honestly doubt any leader will ever again touch my heart like Dean has.

GO HOWARD!

YEAHHHHHHH!!!!!!! This is our country! The media, the DLC, and the Republican machine can pull someone else's strings. I'm in charge of mine.

3. Hang in there
He could win. I like to see it narrow down to Kerry, dean and edwards and the rest go help them. We could have decent debates between the three of them.

4. Act on that passion
I really appreciate your words. Please realize you have to take the passion that Dean has instilled in you and convert it to local action. You can not just concentrate it on Dean. It's not just Dean. In fact, I think it's not about Dean at all. It's about the Dean supporters. That is the key. Dean could disappear tomorrow but you will all still be there, connected by the web. That is huge.

I am really disappointed that Democrats seem to only focus on the Presidency. How many threads do you see here about taking back the House or Senate?

Zip.

The Republicans, on the other hand, think about the whole enchilada. Right down to the local school board or county board seat. They are organized, and they want power.

That's what we need to do. We need to take this movement Dean started and get about the business of changing our government one office at a time.

Yeah!! :)
