Watch the controversial Dean speech: no download required!
Cspan has it on their website. It's a stream and even those on dial up can watch it quickly.

http://www.cspan.org/

It's towards the top of the page as the Most Requested Video. Just click on that and see for yourself how the media is trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill.

1. Is this the one where his head explodes after biting the head off a bat?
I love that one. ;)

2. I've seen it, and there was nothing wrong with his speech
You know, the only reason the media is making such a fuss over it is because Dean didn't react to the Iowa results the way they wanted him to. They were expecting him to come out and look and sound beaten. That's what they were all pumped up to report. Well, he didn't give that to them so it blew their whole planned story line out of the water...so they had to create one that wasn't there. That's all this is...a dumb ass attempt by the media to make Dean play by their agenda...and it's not going to work and nor is Dean going to play by their desired rules. That's one of the things I love about him.

6. Good point
He didn't match people's expectations. If he had one the shouting wouldn't have even been an issue.

What I *was* disappointed at was Dean missed the opportunity to make a speech by himself, no debating, with the world watching. Both Kerry and Edwards capitalized on it, and Dean practically threw it away. You can't get by with very many blown opportunities when the race is this tight.

5. Yours is better, but tough for dial up people
Cspan and networks stifle out the crowd noise so you can better hear the speaker. That's why it sounds like Dean was being too loud and enthusiastic. The fact of the matter is this...he was yelling over the crowd. I posted this to provide dial up users with something more than a 10 second clip. Thanks for adding your link, too!

7. thanks for posting that!
I appreciate both versions! I am especially glad to see the CROWD version posted, though. I was there in the crowd, and believe me, he was NOT screaming louder than we were! The energy was amazing, and he did his best to try to be heard above us, even with the sound system. I was actually shocked to come home and find out it was an issue.
