How do we petition against HR 235?

H.R. 235, a measure introduced by Rep. Walter Jones (R-N.C.), would allow clergy to endorse candidates from the pulpit and still retain a tax exemption of their house of worship. This would be a VERY dangerous step for our country. Is there any activism going on against it?

1. Sounds pretty unconstitutional to me.

Not that it would make any difference to those freaks. But some of those evil "activist" judges are likely to smack it down if it's ever enacted.

2. Unconstitutional: This was allowed until the mid 1950s

when Lyndon Johnson led the fight to change it. So I question whether courts would find it unconstitional. I think it is a bad idea though to change the law. Churches can endorce candidates now- they would just have to pay taxes like the rest of us.

First, Jones introduces this bullsh*t bill, then the East Waynesville Baptist Church expels all of its Democratic members. Man, I gotta think about moving.
