5. But it's NOT a "human response" to lie when asked about blowjobs?
Really?

Funny world these republicans live in. Reality is exactly opposite of what it is in the actual world.

6. The Army has gone to hell
What the heck has happened to the U.S. Army? It seems to me that ever since Bush stole the election in 2000, the Army has gone down hill. This business of issuing every soldier a black beret - something that was once earned and worn proudly by the Airborne Rangers - was the tip of the iceberg. We've seen the fiasco with PFC Lynch and the 507th Maintenance Company. Those troops were in a combat zone with dirty weapons, PFC Lynch could not clear her weapon when it jammed, they had their hand grenades locked up, they got lost.........We had the case of a Battalion Commander writing form letters to send to the media after he had his troops sign them......... Then the Army could not even be honest about the death of Tillman. The Iraqi prison scandal shows that the Army can't even run a prison without causing an international scandal. I think the American public deserves better from the U.S. Army. And the young men and women that join the Army deserve better leadership from their commanders.

7. Well, it's late in the day, I'm tired, on my 2nd glass of merlot...
and just got the news that I need a bunch of expensive dental work if I want to keep my teeth for the next 30 years (good chance I might live that long--my mom died at 96). So maybe I've got an attitude thing going, but I agree that the Army has gone to hell (my spouse the vet agrees), so there is only one thing I know for sure: I will NOT let my grandsons be sent off to one of these ugly misbegotten wars that's underway and is in the planning stages by Bush and his evil minions!

Could it get any worse? Probably. That's why I remain...
