2. That's encouraging
I'm thankful that in America there is a poll for every one of us ;)

Seriously - I needed that. Many of the polls as of late have been a bit stressful to view.

7. wow - that's amazing
Agree with DK to extent I've followed his views. Will's report from IA makes me sick that much of the country will not see how good his views are. He's the only one I've given money to.

Originally wanted to vote for Kerry and still VERY much admire him for his long support of progressive programs. I'm afraid many of the people will find him as stiff and reserved as Gore.

Clark is the only candidate I've seen in person (in Tulsa). As of now, he's the one I'll vote for.

We take our country back in 2004.

10. He is getting this support from American Indians...
The American Indian Congress has pledged to get out one million voters to vote against Bush in November. Because Clark has received so many American Indian endorsements, he will probably be the favorite candidate in many states where there are heavy American Indian populations. He's totally opposed to Yucca Mountain and as promised to stop this environmentally racist project. That sends a clear message to Indians who for too long have had their lands abused.

The Abenaki in Vermont even endorsed him, along with the top American Indian newspaper in the nation.

He's gonna do great in Oklahoma and New Mexico, and other states with heavy Indian populations.

18. I imagine so...
I expect him to have good support down here. There are letters in support of him to the editor of the state's larges daily very frequently here.

*fingers crossed*

I think in all the southern/border states he's been at 5% at best. Iowa was like a rocket booster!!!

14. I know that the NH outcome is going to be influential
But both Clark and Edwards are pretty well poised for Feb 3rd. Dean had been looking good in ND, AZ, NM also. It's interesting to find out how much of that was front-runner buzz based.

I think Kerry has the MOST at stake in NH. Lose there and he's going to be in some trouble for the states on 2/3 and (when is TN -- 2/10?)

Win their and he is going to get the front-runner bounce which should carry him into competition on 2/3. It's all so interesting.

23. good question
I suspect the media doesn't have the attention span to keep track of all the primaries/caucuses on that day! It also happened in 2000, I think it is given undue weight as the first southern contest.

26. The two veterans
do best with Kerry edging out Bush in Washington state. I think that no matter how many voters rate the issues, a comfort on national security matters, is subliminally acting on their choices.
