I don't think it will, do you believe democrats will shut down congress. It has both ups and downs but the fact that the nuclear option was used will be enough ammo to win 2006. A majority of people in the US are against the use of this power, so we can use this against them. The problem is that we don't won't these ideological nuts on the courts, so we need to make sure that the dem's stand strong, and someone needs to e-mail Durbin and tell him to get with the program and that we will not stand down to a Fuck off like Cheney and Frist.

2. Did you see/hear Durbin's speech in the senate today?

He talked about not shutting the senate down but taking over the legislative process and bring forward getting work done in the senate that the American people/familes want dealt with, made it sound like a much better-working senate than what the Repubs have given us.
