OK Pope watchers, I have a job for you..... Stopwatches ready.....
Tomorrow is the new Pope's big day.... So how many minutes will Fox etc spend on Jebbie being there. Now many times will they cut to a close up of Jebbie during the main part of the service.

Bonus point,,,, will Jebbie's wife be there with him or one of his close female friends........

And finally would somebody with a straight face tell me, Jebbie is not running hard for 2008...

2. I keep being surprised by people saying that...

No, he married a Catholic and converted. (So it's not new, people just haven't heard of it widely, apparently.) I imagine it helps him politically in Florida though not nationally. Then again at this rate, the US will be the most pro-Catholic nation on Earth...

3. I certainly had never heard it before
And most, if not all, of the Catholics I have known come from Catholic families. But, there are those who convert, however I have always understood that to be a somewhat difficult process.

Perhaps they are more willing to put it out front now as their may be some political mileage to get out of it.

6. Covert
My uncle coverted to the Catholic Faith in the 1950. The background checks the did on him, were almost as extensive as the back ground investigation done on me for A Top Secret Clearance.

7. The whole family has always been superficial about it.
"Dumbya" is probably the worst among them about faking it for votes.
