Will my tax money be used to bomb Iran?
Okay look, I'm a law abiding citizen but am hesitating on dropping my taxes in the mail this year because of the Bush Regimes quest for global domination etc.. etc.. If I knew this money would go to Veterans, Health Care, the Elderly, or the U.S Infrastructure there of course would be no remorse. I got 24 hours or so, and the check will be in the mail. This will be a post and run message, got a few appointments to get to, but any thoughts and feedback would be greatly appreciated. Peace.

1. The are not paying for the illegal immoral wars of aggression with tax
money they are 'paying' for them with debt. Anything to keep the bubble from bursting on the weed$ watch. It is breaking down now that is why the rush is on to loot Social Security to save Wall Street for a few more months.

2. can't you legally withhold them because of conscience ?

the thought of taxes being used on bombing Iranians instead of a good health system is an anathema .
I though that there was something in US law that gave you the right to withhold taxes ?..although maybe it means jail time.

Didn't Joan Baez withhold taxes during the Vietnam War ?

3. no doubt
But I would suggest paying taxes nonetheless, and then organizing for reduction in defense spending and promotion of peace as inevitable.

4. It's possible that they will, but remember,
whatever the Bush administration wants to do it will do, regardless of whether the funds are there or not. That's what he's been doing since he came into office, paying for everying on borrowed money. The national debt has increased $2 tillion since he took office, and he doesn't give a shit. So, if you don't pay them, it mean more debt, not less war.
