1. the standard of care in most US hospitals is to provide the morning after
pill (if wanted)---for rape victims. Saying that a quarter of the hospital emergency depts do NOT do this at the present.

3. catholic hospitals are covered by Catholic teaching so they do not
offer the Standard of medical practice (to offer the morning after pill if wanted by the victim of wait).

2. How sad that our private medical choices should be up for debate anywhere!
On TV or in Congress. That's what I get for being born in a puritanical nation, eh?:(

4. Sorry to keep posting this, but -- there are alternatives
People should be aware that ANY normal contraception can be substituted if the "morning after" pill isn't available for some reason.

http://www.fwhc.org/birth-control/ecinfo.htm

Not that the easier, 2-pill package shouldn't be available, but people shouldn't be misled into thinking that if it's not available to them for some reason, they have no options.

My guess this is not information that's being taught in health classes.....
