The "SUPER BOWL" of debates: The Pubs Vs the Dems

If we were to have a SUPER BOWL of eloquent and wise speakers vying for the Prize...who would the Pubs have to speak for THEM? W?

RUSH? Sean Hannity, OReilly? Who?

For the Dems, I would put my money on Mario Cuomo.

He would clean their clocks. any and all of them.

And its only because the Pubs have nothing but BS to say....no real facts. Only distraction and deception.

3. I'd want Bill Clinton on our team.
He's a smart guy who knows how to communicate.

Also, on values issues, Barack Obama. I don't know if he's a master of policy, but his convention speech tells me that he can communicate the big picture of what Democrats value and what this country needs.

I could go for that..... the Mrs too....

The Pubs would have to rely on BS and Deception and they would fail miserably.

4. About the only Republicans with any intellectual capabilities at all...
...at least that come to mind immediately, would be George Will and Pat Buchanan. And the neocons wouldn't allow either of them to speak for the party, because they have disagreed with parts of the Bush/PNAC agenda.

So what would be likely to happen is that the 'Pukes would send out people like Hannity and Coulter, and then the mediawhores covering the event would tell you that they won. Just like they did for Junior in the 2000 debates.

9. My Team: Barney Frank, Bartcop & Randi Rhodes
Alternates:

Bill Clinton,
Wes Clark
Mike Malloy
Charlie Rangel...

Hell, we've got a hundred people who could best any of their minions in a fair, well-moderated debate. That's why you'll never see one.

10. Al Franken
He gutted O'Reilly and would make mincemeat of the other mice in your list. Franken would win on points _and_ humor which is absolutely critical, IMO. Bush supporters and people who listen to Limbaugh, Hannity, and O'Reilly don't give a hoot in hell about facts. That's why Bush and the other curs still have jobs in the first place.
