When will the Intelligence Community turn on Bushco?
Edited on Sat Apr-09-05 10:14 AM by Jade Fox
Let's see, so far they've only been falsely blamed for 9/11 and Bush's
disasterous invasion and occupation of Iraq. Oh yeah, and then there
was that whole Valerie Plame fiasco.

What's is gonna take to get you to fight back, guys?

1. They have been fighting back
With well placed leaks and by books by former officials. Unfortunately they are no match for the dirty tricks of the rest of the administration.

4. But they are a match....
They have far more power and access to info than any Presidential
Administration does.

Admitedly Bushco can't be topped when it comes to coruption.

2. They cannot. They have to do their jobs. That means implementing
the Bush Plan. Bush got re-elected. Their hands are tied. This is a democracy. We have to put up with Bush for 4 more years. That is how it works. The people who have to oppose Bush are us!

It is up to us.

The media will not save us. The civil servants are not allowed to go against the President. The congress & senate & the civil leaders and the people can oppose him. Academics can write books or articles. The judges cannot do anything except rule in courtrooms. Cases have to be brought to them.

10. If the administration is committing TREASON, they certainly DO have the
RIGHT to oppose and expose this to the american people, IMO.

3. Wont happen. this is all just for show.
Edited on Sat Apr-09-05 10:10 AM by Discord
A couple harsh quotes from the Administration, a few harsh responses back from Agency officials, so on and so forth...

meanwhile, behind closed doors, they are laughing their asses of watching the American public push and pull on an entire report that is based on the lies about the lies, and that absolutely no one is held accountable. As long as the issue is done, and no ones in trouble, why would either one care?

edited for spelling

11. I agree here...and 'medals of freedom' are given out like candy.
Its all a charade for public consumption. The entire government is a FRAUD.

5. It could happen
Don't forget, the vast majority of work done in this country is done by blue (and light blue) collared working stiffs who are slowly, but surely, realizing that they too are getting fucked.

This is true throughout the federal government as well.

Go watch "fight club", it will make you feel better.

7. Most of the Intelligence Community IS Bu$hco
Don't hold your breath.

also, if a national security/intelligence group were to fight back, it would be an internal coup, the result of which might be even worse than Bu$hco.

8. Many are against Bush. Bush knows it. He had some of them purged.
Edited on Sat Apr-09-05 10:26 AM by blm
Those that he could nail, anyway. There are still many in place and will continue to make sure the American people get some information.

It's the focking media that won't turn up the volume on these reports and leaks.

Imagine if the media reported Bush's failures on terror and in Iraq with any intensity at all these past 4 years. BushInc wouldn't have been able to get away with blaming the whole CIA, and would have been facing impeachment back in 2003.

I am betting that the good guys loyal to the American people and the Constitution will win out over the Bush family loyalists there who are devoted to greed and power.

13. If we could get the people who put together the
truthuncovered video to release it FREE.... and have as many people as possible reproduce it, and distribute it free, link people to the free downloads... and so forth, I am sure you would see an uprising and it wouldn't have to come from the intelligence community.

In his documentary feature, UNCOVERED: The War on Iraq, filmmaker Robert Greenwald chronicles the Bush Administration's determined quest to invade Iraq following the events of September 11, 2001. The film deconstructs the administration's case for war through interviews with U.S intelligence and defense officials, foreign service experts, and U.N. weapons inspectors – including a former CIA director, a former ambassador to Saudi Arabia and even President's Bush's Secretary of the Army. Their analyses and conclusions are sobering, and often disturbing, regardless of one's political affiliations.

15. I don't think that's possible.....
Remember the description of Bushco as Mayberry Machiavelias? These
are not sophisticated people, only ruthless.

There may be complicity on the part of old time CIA spooks who are Poppy
Bush's cronies. There also may be some trade off over the Patriot Act,
which I can only imagine the Intelligence Community loves. Maybe they
are cutting Bush slack because of it. Or may be they are just being good
soldiers and falling on their swords for the boss.
