"Hillary in 08" meme alive and well on network news

Was in the gym at the hotel, and whatever network news program was on was touting a "Hilary vs. Condoleeza" matchup in '08 and it made me scream. Literally.

I'm sure the others thought I was a Rush fan or something, screaming my hatred of Hilary. I like Sen. Clinton - think she's a great Senator.

But for God's sake, do these people get that she's NOT the choice of the grassroots of the party? That there's no "elect Hillary" swell going? That the "chatter" among the party faithful is NOT about her? That there's just nothing behind this, except maybe the DLC (and definitely the RNC, who would love it)

I've had non-political friends insist it was true (and practically inevitable) because it's all they hear/read about.

1. I just don't get this whole Hillary thing.

I like her to, but she is the biggest lightning rod in the democratic party (besides her husband, that is). I have felt for a long time that all of this talk of her running for president was mostly just pundits getting all excited over the prospect of more fake scandal and controversy.

7. Hillary has a frame. They cannot reframe her because she already

exists. We have a relationship with her. The Repukes spent $75,000 or whatever looking for dirt and the Clintons ended up more popular when it was all over. We saw Hillary be human and angry because of what Bill did. We like her.

She also tests well amongst women, AA, New York, Arkansaw, Latinos, centrists, & Repukes in the Senate like her.

She is strong and likeable. And they cannot re-frame her like they did Kerry.

2. Well, it's not like it's outlandish or made up on there part...

..does anyone really doubt that she'll run? I'm not saying the right wouldn't salivate over this (or at least give the impression that they are salivating..perhaps it is fear), but it's not like the speculation on it is limited to right wing media meme's. There is plenty of talk about it among dems too.

Thanks to everyone who, faced with the 'loss' in '04, decided to IMMEDIATELY begin pushing the LEAST feasible candidate for '08. We're certain to remain losers for decades to come...

And NO, I'm not a misogynist. I just see that PEOPLE, IN GENERAL, DO NOT LIKE HILLARY CLINTON. She will be easier to defeat than Kerry was, and THAT is saying something.

What is wrong with these idiots! I don't think Hillary can even make it into the primaries at this point. Too many of us sane and rational life-long Dem's can't stand this woman. The only thing that could make me vote for that woman is if she suddenly decided to confess to everything she has covered up over her life long career in politics and said she was working under cover and is throwing every Rethuglican rat fink she ever DEFENDED in jail for life! Hilary is NOT a Democrat, she's a freaking BLOOD SUCKER!
