Social Security Trap! Can you believe the audacity of repukes to
want to steal the citizens money for themselves, rich people everywhere, especially ceo's and stockholders and then expect the Dems to sit down and give them ideas on how to do it (McDonnell, Bartlett, Hager this morning on TV)

They are also pretending that Hager has a 'counter-plan' to Bush's plan (which doesn't exist). This is a variation #1 on the first trick to get Dems sucked in and trapped into talking about it. Dems who have said that nothing doesn't need to be done now except to start thinnking beyond 2042/2052.

WHO IS MORE STUPID? REPUBS FOR EXPECTING US TO FALL FOR THEIR TRICK or any possible DEM who thinks we should.

Write your representatives. Explain it to them very carefully. A trap is being set. Tell them they are being warned by you.

1. Please don't throw me in that briar patch....
The only trap is the one the Repubs have set for themselves. As long as the Democrats don't agree to "private accounts", the Repubs are the only ones to lose on this issue, in my opinion.

2. Democrats have allowed FICA overpayments to be looted
to mask the true cost of those tax cuts to the rich, right along with their GOP brethren. To say I don't trust any of them to fight the administration on this final looting and dissolution of the plan is an understatement.

The GOP is looking for some sort of compromise to salvage any part of their effort, and my guess is that the spineless DLC Dems will bend over backwards to give them all the compromise they need. Only the few Dems who are still clinging to a few principles will vote against it, and their number is too few to matter.
