Has anyone confirmed that James Guckert("Jeff Gannon") was a Marine? If so, what years?

Did he graduate from college?

7. The way to find out more about Gannon/Guckert is to go to a library

and tell a liberal librarian in the Gov't/Business and the History department who you are trying to find. My boss told me yesterday he had heard Gannon had spent some time in Cincinnati and I went to the library on my lunch break, asked the librarian where the old criss cross city directories were, told him who I was looking for. All I had to say was Gannongateand he was dieing to help dig, as he asked me to stop back to his desk on my way out) On my way out he handed me Guckert's former employer in West Chester PA. I looked at the companies web site and sure enough on the aboutus page there is a guy with a shaved head. To find out more about Gannon people are going to have to hit the libraries, auditors, clerk of courts etc.

BTW a Loiuse Guckert widow of John lived at 3737 Bank Ct, Cincinnati Ohio in 1976. 3737 Bank Ct. is a 2 family and was not owned by the Guckert's in that time frame. In that same neighborhood at the same time lived a Norbert Gannon. Currently there is a James and a William Guckert living in suburbs of Cincinnati. Libraries and librarians, then neighbors, exes, former co-workers, like the guys who may still work at that truck painting business in West Chester PA called Karmak Inc.
