Interesting that the same buffoons who MISSED 9/11 despite all the warnings (President Chookie, having seen that stuff, would have made a low keyed alert to the flying public -- and yes, it would have prevented the attacks! -- think about it....)

So let's see -- they were CLUELESS about THAT, but we must TRUST that they've gotten it right now. Even though, from Condi's statement, it is impossible to know....

I just don't feel comfy. Condi's best response to the notion that this was LIHOP is to say, "We had no way of knowing." Gee, even after all those pretty darned detailed memos of Al Qaeda's intent and what means they would likely employ?

I have been asking this for years -- is it incompetence, or is everything going exactly according to plan. A detailed case can be made for each scenario.

The second question relates to the veracity of statements, briefings, and testimony by then-National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice regarding this issue.
