I asked an enlisted person who returned from Iraq in early December
Edited on Sun Dec-21-03 10:37 PM by TrueAmerican
who is he supporting. He said General Wesley Clark.

Of course I was/am that enlisted person. :)

Ask yourself who you should support, don't let Al Gore, Iowa, and NH decide for you. ;)

back TrueAmerican. I'm glad you made it safely.

Of course, you're making a great candidate choice as well.

Wes Clark. He will make an extraordinary American President.

8. Congratulations on your decision.
You've made a wise one :)

If you don't mind, could you tell us a bit what it was like over there? The conditions, the morale of the troops, whether they even have enough time to be concerned with politics or who they will vote for in the next election...

If you're not comfortable sharing, I totally understand.

THANK YOU! and we're glad you made it home safely.

15. My brother was in Iraq this year! Bu$h will have his children fighting
needless wars when they are old enough. He told me that is why he is going to vote for anydody but Bu$h. Be it Clark or Dean or Kucinich or my dog Alexandra. He feels like me. We refuse to give up our children for Bu$h Inc.`s war crime. Which is etched in corporate media stone to last forever. Or until all the liberals like me breath their last breath. And I am going to use my freedom of speech while I still have it to denounce Bu$h and his corporate batch of maggots for the constitution usurping scum that they are. Sorry moderators if I broke the rules a little bit. Is this still America I am living in?
Peace
Wildman

17. Al Gore?
Heck, he doesn't even have the support of his home state in endorsing Dean. He won't decide anything for me.

Glad you made it home - I was over there in 90-91.

20. But ask an enlisted person who served under him
and you get a different story. Or ask an officer who served above him and you get a different story.
Clark can't be our nominee for several reasons, but the big one is that he has already written the RNC ads, when he spoke highly of Bush and Co. several times on camera. My take? He wanted Colin Powell's job when Powell got fed up. When that didn't look like it was panning out, he started looking for another spotlight.
